Once Again: Democrat Pushes for New Trump Impeachment Attempt
Just over two weeks after President Donald Trump’s return to the White House, Democratic Congressman Al Green of Texas has officially launched a new impeachment campaign against him. In a speech on the House floor, Green announced his intention to move forward with Articles of Impeachment, declaring, “The movement to impeach the president has begun. I rise to announce that I will bring Articles of Impeachment against the president for dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done.”
This latest push for impeachment follows President Trump’s controversial announcement regarding the United States assuming full ownership of the Gaza Strip. Under Trump’s proposed plan, the U.S. would take control of the region, relocate nearly 2 million Palestinians to other countries, and repurpose the land for American development. Green’s impeachment effort is a direct response to this plan, which he deems unacceptable and harmful.
