Marlon Wayans Reveals White Chicks 2 Is Happening
Oh my God, it’s really happening! Everyone, stay calm. Marlon Wayans has confirmed that White Chicks 2 is officially in the works!
He made the announcement during an appearance on Good Morning America at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards, where he and his family were inducted into the award show’s Hall of Fame.
“I think it’s time. Let’s finish Scary Movie 6 first, then we’ll bring on White Chicks 2,” Wayans said.
Fans of the 2004 cult classic, which grossed over $100 million at the box office two decades ago, quickly took to X to share their excitement. One fan even called it the ‘comeback’ of ‘real cinema,’ while another joked, “Comedy gold incoming.”
Last summer, Marlon and his brother Shawn reunited with Terry Crews to recreate the legendary Thousand Miles scene from the film, sending fans into a nostalgia frenzy.
For those who might not remember, White Chicks follows two FBI agents who go undercover as wealthy, glamorous heiresses in their 20s to protect them from being kidnapped by gangsters. The characters of Tiffany and Brittany Wilson were inspired by Paris and Nicky Hilton.
In a previous interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Marlon shared his “hopes” for a sequel, stating, “I think it would be a great film.”
He also mentioned, “The world needs White Chicks 2,” and honestly, we couldn’t agree more.
Marlon also reminisced about his time with the Hiltons. “It was really cool meeting Nicky and Paris. I’ve known them for years. We actually used to party together,” he recalled. “Me and my brother used to watch them party and think, ‘We should do them in a movie one day.’ They were kind of the inspiration behind the characters we created in White Chicks.”
