It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ Star Passes Away

Stewart, a seasoned actress and comedy veteran, was well known for portraying Miss Yvonne in Pee-wee’s Playhouse and had a long-running career in television and theater.

Her representative, Bette Smith, confirmed that Stewart had been battling health issues before a cancerous tumor was discovered near her liver and gallbladder in December. She passed away just a month after her diagnosis.

Fans of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia have been sharing tributes on social media, with many remembering her as a standout presence in the series.

One fan wrote, “I’ve seen Always Sunny more times than I can count, and she was always a highlight. She will be missed.”

Another added, “RIP. I know the Sunny crew is going to honor her in such an amazing way.”

In addition to her work on It’s Always Sunny, Stewart was a member of the renowned comedy troupe The Groundlings and had a distinguished career spanning decades.

Her representative described her as “the kindest and most honorable person” who “loved the craft” and was dedicated to acting, regardless of recognition.
