Coleen and Wayne Rooney Enjoy Disneyland Trip with Youngest Sons After His New Job

Coleen and Wayne Rooney enjoyed a special trip to Disneyland Paris with their two youngest sons, Kit, nine, and Cass, six, after the former footballer landed a new TV gig

Coleen and Wayne Rooney whisked their kids away for a dreamy family trip to Disneyland Paris. The couple, who have been married for over a decade, took their two youngest sons, Kit, nine, and Cass, six, for a magical adventure at the world-renowned amusement park. The family snapped pictures with some favourite Disney icons like Mickey Mouse and Stitch from Lilo & Stitch, while they also surprised Cass with an early birthday celebration at the Disneyland Hotel’s Royal Banquet. The youngster is set to turn seven this Saturday, 15 Feb. Coleen and Wayne’s two other sons, Kai and Klay did not appear to join them on the trip.

Coleen, 38, said that the magic of Disneyland Paris never fades as she shared: “The moment we arrive, the excitement kicks in instantly. You can’t help but smile – the music, the sights, the whole atmosphere just brings that childhood magic rushing back.” She also posted glimpses of their family trip on Instagram, captioning her post: “Such a magical trip to @disneylandparis. We absolutely loved it.”

Her followers poured into the comments section on Instagram, with one fan gushing: “Gorgeous memories forever.” Another chimed in, saying: “What amazing memories you’ve all made such a beautiful video of you all.” A different follower shared: “The unique family time with Kit and Cass,” adding a heart emoji, reports the Mirror. Also, someone else remarked: “Gorgeous family, Beautiful children.”

The trip comes after the announcement of Wayne landing a new gig. He joined Prime Video for their coverage of the much-anticipated Manchester City v Real Madrid Champions League battle on Tuesday, 11 February.Former footballer Wayne had a rough start to January after being let go as manager of Plymouth, following a string of unsuccessful showings at Home Park that brought only four home league victories and saw the Pilgrims planted firmly at the bottom of the Championship.

Prime announced earlier this week: “Prime has signed England and Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney to its UEFA Champions League punditry team, and he will make his debut tomorrow night when Manchester City take on Real Madrid in the first leg of their heavyweight Knockout Phase Play-Off clash.”

They added: “UCL winner Rooney will join Daniel Sturridge, Clarence Seedorf and Gael Clichy on the punditry team at the Etihad Stadium tomorrow night. The group will provide expert analysis from the moment coverage starts at 6.30pm, ahead of the 8pm kick-off available exclusively on Prime.”

Coleen, meanwhile, won a whole new legion of fans when she took part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! at the end of last year. She made it to the final of the ITV reality show but was beaten at the end by McFly star Danny Jones.

Coleen told ITV’s This Morning: “I got in there and day three I sat on that log and thought, ‘What am I doing?’ I just thought, ‘what have I got to give to this jungle? Just me?’… There were loads of great characters in there, all singing, all dancing, and I just felt a bit lost.” She added that after getting to know her campmates, and being more familiar with life in the camp, she “started to relax and enjoy it and enjoy everyone else’s company”.

Coleen also said that she is up for more public projects in the future as her four sons get older. “I’m a mum and that was my priority over everything, to make sure the kids are okay, I love being involved in everything that they do,” she said. “Now they’re all a bit older, they don’t depend on me as much as they did when they were babies, so I feel like now the time is right for me to start doing some more work again. I’ve got lots of other little projects on the go and I’m really enjoying it.”
